Strategic Partners

The Howden Group Foundation is truly global with representatives from each of our regions.

We have selected six charities to enter into, strategic partnerships with: The Prince's Trust, Seven Clean Seas, The Nature Conservancy, Fundacion ProEmpleo, Danish Red Cross, and Care Channels International.

Each of these causes share our values and can help us to deliver on the Foundation's objectives, the Group's sustainability agenda, and our CSR strategic pillars of entrepreneurship, education and environment.

The Nature Conservancy logo

The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy is a global environmental nonprofit working to create a world where people and nature can thrive. Their mission is to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.

Our donation will enable TNC to retire 25,000 tonnes of CO2 through the purchase of certified carbon credits from projects in Africa that also benefit communities and conservation. This will help address climate change, safeguard local habitats and wildlife, and benefit the livelihoods of rural communities in Kenya and Tanzania. This forms part of our wider Group efforts to start substantially reducing our emissions and establishing robust data collection protocols on unavoidable emissions.
