Howden strengthens sponsorship of Bahrain Turf Series with three-year extension

11 September 2025 – Under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the High Committee of The Bahrain Turf Club, the Club has announced an extension of its partnership with Howden, which will continue as a platinum sponsor of the Bahrain Turf Series for the next three seasons.
The renewed agreement was signed during the Club’s visit to the United Kingdom for the opening day of the Newmarket Festival, where the Kingdom of Bahrain sponsors all three Group races on the card. The signing was attended by Mr. Yusuf Buheji, CEO of The Bahrain Turf Club, and Mr. Adam Knights, CEO of Howden Bahrain.
Commenting on the extension, Mr Yusuf Buheji said: “We are pleased to continue our successful partnership with Howden, whose involvement since the launch of the Bahrain Turf Series has played an important role in its development. This renewed commitment highlights the confidence placed in the strength of Bahrain’s racing product and its growing international appeal.”

Howden’s extension of the Bahrain Turf Club’s Series sponsorship reinforces its commitment to the global equine market and strengthens its connection to horse racing.
