Howden acquires Drogheda-based Intersure, bolstering its position in the Irish insurance market

Dublin, 29 February 2024 – Howden announces it has acquired Intersure Group Limited, trading as Intersure Group, (“Intersure”), further strengthening its ability to service the Irish insurance market, as it expands its geographical footprint across the country.

Established in 1999 by Noeleen Butterly, Intersure is an owner-managed business with its office in Drogheda, Co. Louth, providing clients with a high standard of technical insurance advice across commercial, business, construction and liability lines, and personal lines including home, motor and travel.
