Chris Aries appointed as General Counsel, Howden US

Miami, December 10, 2025 – Howden today announced the appointment of Chris Aries as General Counsel of its US retail broking and advisory business.  

Aries will serve as the primary legal advisor to Howden’s US business, covering both specialty and retail insurance lines. As a member of the senior leadership team, he will help guide business strategy, governance, and operational planning while building a high-impact legal presence for the organization.

With more than two decades in the sector, Aries brings extensive experience guiding multinational organizations through major growth – spanning strategic acquisitions, large-scale integrations, and platform expansion. He is recognized for translating complex regulatory and operational demands into practical solutions and spotting pressure points early to maintain momentum and ensure smooth execution.
