Anders Kvan reappointed as CEO, Howden Norway

Oslo, Norway, 29 October 2025 – Howden today announces the reappointment of Anders Kvan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Howden Norway, effective immediately.
Kvan served as CEO of Howden’s Norwegian business from its foundation as Northedge Forsikringsmegling AS in 2006 through its acquisition by Howden in 2013, and up until 2024, when he stepped up to Executive Chair of the board. He has agreed to reassume his previous position as CEO, in which he played a pivotal role in growing Howden Norway into one of the country’s leading insurance brokers, now employing 100 people.
Kvan takes over as CEO from Jan Tinus Larsen, who joined Howden Norway in 2018. Larsen, who was appointed CEO in 2024, has played a significant role in the development of Howden’s business in the country.

Salvador Marin has assumed Kvan’s role of Chair of the Board, Howden Norway in addition to his duties as CEO, Howden Iberia & Northern Europe.
