Howden UK has continued its ambitious growth plans for its Employee Benefits division by recruiting two more senior hires. Following Glenn Thomas becoming Managing Director in March, Adam Harding is joining as the new Divisional Director for International Benefits and Rob Atkins joins as Senior Consultant.
Harding was previously International Business Development Manager at Jelf and is a
recognised expert in International Health and Medical Insurance. His primary role at
Howden will be to develop international opportunities from the UK market. This will
leverage Howden’s existing global Employee Benefits capability as the largest
independent international retail broker in the world delivered through its international network, Howden One. Harding joins the Employee Benefits Executive Management team with the aim of building an international team.
Atkins was Senior Employee Benefits Consultant at Fidelius before joining Howden, where he will specialise in providing Workplace Pensions’ advice to corporate clients. He will also contribute to the development of Howden’s Workplace Pension, Savings and Financial Education services which supports Howden’s expansion as a full-service retail broker, providing a broad range of insurance and Employee Benefits services for clients.
Glenn Thomas, Managing Director Employee Benefits, Howden UK, commented: “Howden’s success to date, both in the UK and internationally, has been built on a deep understanding of the sectors we serve and we are now embedding Employee Benefits at the heart of our client proposition. Expertise is so vital in such a specialised area and I am delighted to have Adam and Rob, two high-calibre individuals, joining our ambitious and growing team.”
