Howden appoints Harrison-Sleap as it continues to build out Construction practice
Howden, the international insurance broker, has announced today the appointment of Andrew Harrison-Sleap as Executive Director and Global Deputy Head of Construction. He will report to Naresh Dade, who joined in December 2020 to lead the practice group, and will be based in London.
He joins from McGill & Partners, where he served as Partner in the Professional Indemnity practice. Prior to that he was a Senior Partner at JLT and Head of Professional Indemnity within its Construction division.
Harrison-Sleap will focus on the delivery of first class risk financing solutions for construction clients, with a particular focus on professional indemnity insurance, whilst supporting Dade in growing the business and leading the Construction practice. His appointment serves to complement the existing talent in the team and builds on Howden’s already strong foundations in this product line.
Dade comments: “I am thrilled to have Andrew join us. He is well known in the market as a leader in his field and is a clear example of Howden investing in the best talent for its expanding Construction practice. As we combine the expertise of our in-house team with leading practitioners in the market, such as Andrew, we will position Howden as the alternative broker of choice for construction clients, both in the UK and internationally”.
Paul Redgate, Head of Howden Specialty, said: “I am thrilled that Andrew is joining Howden as we develop and push our regional and specialty agenda globally. We are very excited to have Andrew’s leadership, knowledge and support alongside Naresh and the existing team as we continue to invest in the construction sector.”
